Individual Counselling for Medical Trauma and Post-Recovery Identity
Individual Counselling
My Approach
If you are ready for change, I can help.
In our work together, I support clients with processing pain and grief. We also work on building the mind-body connection, addressing what is keeping you stuck, and getting your life back in alignment with your values. I support individual's with developing a mind, body and heart practice that helps you process your emotions, bring calm to your body, and address any unhelpful thoughts or beliefs that may impact your healing and keep you stuck.
Individuals work with me for varying lengths of treatment, pending their goals and needs.
Short-term or brief therapy, will help you hold space for the loss you’ve experienced and identify changes you can make to start feeling and functioning better. It can help identify tangible changes you can make in your daily life to improve your mental health and better manage your symptoms.
Longer-term therapy will help look at what keeps you stuck, identifying unhelpful patterns, or pain points, creating a new normal, building healthy practices and building the life you want to be living. You will work on applying the skills and techniques you learn with consistency, engage in value-based living, so you can get back to thriving, instead of just surviving.
Services
I currently offer services in-person (Downtown Toronto clinic) or virtually (Residents of Ontario) at CBT Associates to individuals.
My rate is $160 per session, unfortunately OHIP does not cover private psychotherapy services, however most extended health insurance plans may reimburse all or part of the fee. Any non-reimbursed fees may be claimed as medical expenses on your income tax return.
To work with me, you can connect with the Intake Team at CBT Associates and request to work with Nicole Bangloy.
You can also connect with me directly to get started.
